The Project
Access Youth Academy is dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved youth by providing academic enrichment, leadership development, and athletic training. Through a 14-year program, students from low-income backgrounds receive tutoring, mentorship, college and career guidance, and training in squash and pickleball. By fostering both academic and athletic excellence, the Access Youth Academy equips students with the skills and confidence to thrive.
In addition to academic and athletic development, Access Youth Academy is committed to expanding opportunities for students through sustainable initiatives. With financing by BQuest Foundation and by partnering with the SunForAll Program, Access Youth Academy was able to install an 85 kW solar system that will allow the organization to reduce energy costs, directing more resources toward programs.
With a 100% high school graduation rate, millions in scholarships earned, and national recognition in squash, Access Youth Academy continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of the students it serves. By breaking down barriers to education and personal development, Access Youth Academy empowers young people to reach their full potential, fostering a new generation of leaders who will create positive change in their communities.
What They Are Saying
"Our recent solar installation at Access Youth Academy represents more than just an environmental upgrade – it's a direct investment in our students' futures. Every dollar saved on energy costs is another dollar we can channel into our transformative 14-year program, supporting our students' academic and athletic journeys. This sustainable solution aligns perfectly with our long-term commitment to both environmental stewardship and educational excellence. As we continue to empower underserved youth through education and sports, this solar installation demonstrates our innovative approach to maximizing resources for the benefit of our students."
