The Project

Life Services Alternatives (LSA) is unwavering in its commitment to providing exceptional community living and programs for adults with disabilities. In line with this mission, LSA champions the belief that every individual with developmental disabilities has the inherent right to live life to its fullest within the community. Operating in Santa Clara County, LSA provides round-the-clock care and support to adults with special needs in neighborhood homes.

At the core of their approach, LSA offers personalized programs centered on skill-building that make a profound impact on the quality of life for their residents. This dedicated support enables individuals with disabilities to not only navigate daily life but also to reach their true potential. In alignment with their mission, LSA is committed to sustainability initiatives, such as the installation of solar energy, at their residential facility catering to six adults with developmental disabilities.

BQuest proudly supports Hammond Climate Solution's Solar Moonshot Program with individual grants that help nonprofit organizations across the United States afford the switch to clean energy. With the help of BQuest's grant through the Solar Moonshot Program and other funding support, Life Services Alternatives has installed a 12.8 kW solar system that offers savings that benefit their residents while also supporting a healthier climate for all.
