New Hampshire Solar Shares strives to be a role model for the state and country by openly sharing their program models and lessons learned with others hoping to replicate their programs. This New Hampshire Solar Shares program builds solar arrays using charitable funds that turn into solar credits for low-income families each year. The families who benefit from the solar credits are able to use the funding they saved on energy costs for expenses like food and monthly bills.
